BEFORE WE TALK

Frequently asked questions.

Who do you work with?

My primary clients are real estate investors, agents and brokers, mortgage loan officers, insurance agents, and service businesses. I also support gig workers, freelancers, and creators across California.

Do I need to visit an office?

Most work happens remotely through secure document uploads and video review. Ask about limited onsite support for complex Southern California business cases.

What documents should I have ready?

Start with income forms, business income and expense records, mileage logs, rental-property records if relevant, and your prior-year return. Your checklist is tailored to your situation after intake.

How long will preparation take?

The plan targets one to three business days for preparation after document collection. Your actual timeline depends on complete records, complexity, and availability; we confirm timing during intake.

How do I pay?

For tax preparation, 40% is due at signing and 60% after your video review, before filing. Any add-ons are quoted before work begins.

Can NANA prepare my return?

NANA is an AI assistant for basic first-line questions and getting started. Keforie handles personalized strategy, preparation, and review.

Can you represent me in every IRS matter?

Scope is assessed first. Complex collection, appeal, or audit-representation cases may be referred to an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney. Audit assistance options for enrolled clients are discussed separately.
